Hi there!

My name is Stuart, and I’m a Freelance Event & Headshot Photographer and Outdoor Enthusiast from the Heart of the Scottish Highlands. After 7 years in the Armed Forces, a few years at University and several painful eons working as a System Admin for various Big Companies and Schools down south of the border I threw it all up in the air and changed things up for the better, all the while gaining experience as an Outdoor Activity guide, cashing in on several years experience as a Climber and picking up a couple of White Water Qualifications at the same time (you'd be surprised how handy those are in this job!)

I approach my work with a very simple mindset:  Do more with less.  This means I keep my equipment and my setup simple, and my post processing to a minimum.  What the eye sees should be what the camera captures.  

My time is occasionally donated to local community and charity events in my area, and I am always happy to donate my time to other groups so long as my expenses are paid.
